The Old House is widely appreciated for its cozy, intimate atmosphere that blends rustic charm with a thoughtfully curated decor reflecting a rich historical ambiance. Patrons frequently highlight the restaurant's welcoming environment and attentive, polite service. The menu is praised for its fresh, diverse, and visually appealing dishes, offering a satisfying culinary experience that appeals to both locals and travelers. While some note that prices can be slightly on the higher side, many consider the overall quality and unique character of the venue well worth the expense. As I approached the Old House, its weathered exterior seemed to sag with the weight of its history. But as I stepped inside, I was greeted by a cozy embrace that whispered of secrets and stories yet untold. The decor was a patchwork of memories, a tribute to a past that had been carefully curated over the years. It was like stepping into a living memory, where every dish on the menu was a taste of nostalgia. The food, while not extraordinary, had a depth of flavor that belied its humble presentation. It was like a song, simple in its melody but rich in emotion. The waitress, with her kind smile and gentle manner, was like a guide through the labyrinth of the Old House. Her warmth was like a light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in a world that can sometimes seem bleak. The bathroom was a sanctuary, an oasis of cleanliness and order in a world that often feels chaotic and unpredictable. It was like a moment of calm in a sea of turbulence. But it was the cheesecake that truly shone like a star in the night sky, a celestial dessert that left me feeling like I had glimpsed the infinite. Its richness was like a balm to the soul, a reminder that sometimes the simplest things in life can be the most profound. Despite its many virtues, the Old House remains a hidden gem, a treasure that few have yet discovered. It is like a secret garden, waiting to be explored by those brave enough to venture beyond the mundane. If you're looking for a true adventure in dining, look no further than the Old House. It is like a journey into the past, a glimpse into a world that is at once familiar and strange. Just be prepared to lose yourself in the maze of its memories

They made my day! I was well surprised from that place. So cozy small neighborhood restaurant. Probably about 40-50 places. Everything inside has a special touch. Colorful and interesting. Service - very polite guy was taking care of our table. Food - wonderful and very interesting presented - beautiful. Prices - maybe just a little bit high but after whole experience these guys totally deserve it. Parking is a hard in that part of Sofia but behind the building there is small area where maybe you can park. Vote for that place with two hands! Enjoy!

Small, but cozy restaurant with casual rustic interior. Food is fresh and tasty, presentation is great and service is excellent. The menu has well selected and diverse dishes. Would definitely recommend it for a weekday after work dinner with friends or weekend lunch. Better call in advance for a reservation as it is usually full.

We came here for our last meal in the Balkans before returning home. I had the pork loin and it was outstanding. My Daughter had the chicken pasta and she ate it all so it must have been delicious. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. He was fluent in English so we knew exactly what we were getting. Recommend for any English speaking travelers.

A truly wonderful and cozy place that immediately makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and tastefully arranged — perfect for relaxing, chatting, or celebrating with friends. The interior is clean and comfortable, with just the right balance between modern design and a homely feel. The menu is very well thought out and offers a great selection of dishes for every taste. Everything we tried was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can tell that the food is prepared with care and attention to detail. Portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair for the quality you get. The service deserves special mention — the staff are polite, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They make sure that every guest feels comfortable and that nothing is missing. It’s clear that they care about providing a great experience, not just serving food. This place is ideal for any occasion — from casual meet-ups and friendly dinners to birthdays and special celebrations. Whether you come for a meal, a dessert, or just a cup of coffee, you’ll definitely want to return. Highly recommended!

Good neighborhood place for when you don't have a better option. The Peppers and Cheese Mousse Salad was good! Cesar Salad was okay, parmesan had strong odor. Service was excellent, but a tad slow.

Very cozy and colourful restaurant. The only reason I take one star away from the rating is that the meat in the beef tagliatelle was chewy. The salads and the quinoa meatballs were very tasty. The prices are a little bit high for my taste but if you don't mind paying a little bit more for a nice and warm place I recommend it. Make a reservation before going because usually it is full.
